Wayne Armacost has more than 40 years of direct, hands on experience in all facets of agriculture. Born and raised on a farm in Northern Baltimore County, he holds a BS Degree in Agriculture from the University of Maryland. He has a solid working knowledge of the dairy industry and has managed personnel, facilities, crops and animals involving up to 1200 head of cattle and 1000 acres of crop land and pastures. His family farm hosted dairy/school tours from 1978-2008.
Stan Dabkowski has over 40 years of Ag related farm tour experience going back to his roots at Weber's Cider Mill Farm from 1966-1974. He then went to Baugher's Orchard in Carroll County from 1976-1986 and finally spent 25 years owning and operating both Spring Meadow Farms in Upperco and Fosters Mushroom and Vegetable Farms in Glyndon from 1986-2011. Stan has hosted over 100,000 school tours to students from Baltimore City and Baltimore County over the past 25 years.
